- Take your family to a museum!
While
you’re planning fall excursions for your family or group, FREE admission to 15 of NM’s
exceptional museums and historic sites should be at the top of your list! EDML
is urging patrons to take advantage of the FamilyPass that allows you and 5
others free admission to visit: The NM
History Museum/Palace of the Governors, the NM Museum of Art, the Museum of
International Folk Art, the Museum of Indian Arts and Culture (Santa Fe, NM),
the National Hispanic Cultural Center
and the NM Museum of Natural History and Science (Albuquerque, NM), the
NM Museum of Space History (Alamogordo, NM), the NM Farm & Ranch Heritage
Museum (Las Cruces, NM) and 7 NM historic sites, statewide. Each Family Pass allows 5 people free entrance into the museums. We have 3 FamilyPasses
to send out on your next adventure. The process is easy; contact Melissa at the
library to complete the Borrower Agreement and pick up the FamilyPass, then
agree to complete a survey when you return the pass.
Our library will be offering a tinsmith crafting class led by Sharon Serna starting Thursday September 15,
